It' s right time of the year for travel and great idea to visit Riga before Christmas with your colleagues or family. We have a nice Christmas market (November 30 - January 8), taking place at the Dome Square. This program includes an exiting master class at one of the most delicious & coziest restaurants in the old town..
Program
DAY 1, December/ January
Arrival in
Riga, transfer to old town located Welton Riverside Hotel****, check in. Welcome drink up arrival.
DAY 2, December/ January
10:00-12:00Today we start with morning walking tour in the medieval Old Town of Riga which will lead you down the
cobbled stone streets highlighting the most beautiful places of this ancient
city: Riga Castle, the Dome Square and Dome Cathedral, St.
Peter's Church, the Town Hall Square and the House of Blackheads , the Great
and Small Guild Halls, Liivs' Square and the Great and the Small Guild Halls,
Three Brothers - the architectural complex of the 15th and 17th
centuries, Swedish Gates. Tour will end with an organ music concert at Riga Dome Cathedral (20 min). Afternoon free; or optional team activity - cooking masterclass & dinner:

improve the cooking skills, learn and obtain new kitchen features and
most of all have good time together! You can choose your favorite main
course and participate in cooking process! We always offer some cold
starters to make guests feel better before the main course and dessert.
Welcome drink, Coffee, Tea and tap water are always included as well! We
offer to obtain main courses like: Risotto, Pasta, Georgian Hachapuri,
Georgian Khinkhali, Georgian Phali, Salads or something social for Christmas table. We can extend the program with exiting shopping tasks at Riga Central market before we start the cooking class !
DAY 3, December/ January
9:00 - 11:00Today we start by foot to charming district of Art
Nouveau (Jugendstil) buildings
and art Nouvau museum on Alberta Street. Rīga is one of the few European cities where Art Nouveau architecture,
art and design objects have survived in great numbers. It is even called
"the metropolis of Art Nouveau". There are 800 Art Nouveau buildings in
Rīga, mostly located in the city's centre - particularly on Alberta
Street. Riga Art Nouveau Centre can also be found on this street, in the
former apartment of the renowned Latvian architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns,
who lived and worked here till 1907 and designed this beautiful
building.
Afternoon free ; or optional tour to Rundale Palace, which is Latvia's version of Versailles Sans Soucis and a pearl of Baroque architecture in the Baltics.
